I do not envision a sadistic & mean savior. As humans on this earth,we suffer a great deal of tribulations on this planet on a daily basis. I find it difficult to believe that God would punish us for all time,many people say that hell is here on earth,&,as time has gone on-I have started to have that same belief. I do believe there might very well be some sort of purgatory after we die,as we are all sinners,however, I don't believe it to be endless punishment-for God is love & he would not condemn his children to endless suffering. If we were created by God-then he already knows how fallable we are & will accept & love us as we are. Yes,we are imperfect,but,God knows that already-only God is perfect-& he would not make us suffer for all eternity. We must live our lives as best we can & try not to hurt each other,as,I personally believe:treat others the same way you would wish to be treated & remember that God loves each & every one of us.May God bless each & every one of us,amen.Thank you 4 posting my comments. I have more proof that there is no eternal hell for any child of God it is a lie from the devil. It is written in Jer 31:22 that the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, a woman shall compass a man. The man is Satan (Isa 14:16). It is written in Gen 3:15 that a woman will bruise Satan at the heel of time. The heel of time is of the feet of Dan 2:33 a time not long before the return of Christ.
